Buy your Australia Post Everyday Mastercard at a particpatig Post office or online. Choose the amount you would like to load and verify your identity using your Australian Driver’s license or Australian passport. If you purchase in store, you’ll have a card ready to go on the spot. If you purchase online, your card will be immediately dispatched to your home address within 3 – 5 business days.
Register your card online. If you purchased your card online you’ll need to activate it.

New Australia Post Everyday Mastercard® customers who acquire their card in July 2026 can earn 5% cashback on eligible grocery purchases for 2 months from the day you acquire your card. Cashback will be loaded back onto your eligible Everyday Mastercard every two weeks.
You must apply for and activate your card between 1 July 2026 and 31 July 2026 to qualify.
This offer is only available to new customers who apply for a new card during July 2026, activate it, and use it at eligible merchants in the grocery category, during the campaign period.

If a store is not categorised as a supermarket or grocery store, it will not qualify for cashback, even if groceries are sold there.
Yes. The promotion has a total cashback pool of AUD $40,000 across all customers.
Cashback is limited to the first 5,000 eligible customers.
Once the AUD $40,000 pool is exhausted, no further cashback will be paid, even if your eligibility period has not ended.
